What's Happening
This past week was all about Thanksgiving and celebrating with family. We celebrated with our son who lives close by and my daughter-in-laws family.
It is a fun evening filled with laughter and craziness. I make all of the main part of the meal and my daughter-in-law's Mom makes the desserts and appetizers. Spending time with them makes it easier on the kids and we are grateful to spend time together.
What do I make for Thanksgiving? I make an herb-crusted turkey, shiitake mushroom gravy, cranberry sauce, a two-bread stuffing, sweet potatoes with two different toppings, corn casserole, mini dauphinoise potatoes, parmesan green beans, and lemon-roasted Brussels with capers! The potatoes and both veggies were being recipe tested and they all won the taste test.

Did you use my recipes for Thanksgiving? Tell me about it!
I'm doing a $25 Visa gift card giveaway and entering is super easy!
All you have to do is leave a comment on any recipe you've made on A Sweet Thyme. That's it!
Your feedback is everything to me!
Your comments help others who are making the recipes and also let me know what you're loving (or hating) to be able to continue to share recipes you actually want to make.
Every comment you leave counts as an entry. So the more recipes you comment on, the more chances you have to win!
I'll pick a winner at random and announce it in my next newsletter on December 2nd, just in time for the holidays!

Links And Products I Am Loving
With Black Friday and Cyber Monday in full swing, I decided to take a slightly different approach this year. If you are anything like me, your inbox is overflowing and everyone seems to be "loving" the exact same things. Rather than add to the noise with another list of sales, I'd love for you to ask me directly-either in the comments or by email-about any products I actually use and recommend. Sometimes a real conversation is far more helpful than another round of the same promotions. What was the best item you purchased or found this weekend????
