This is a fall favorite in our home. The Best Apple Cider Milkshake! Chock full of creamy vanilla ice cream, cinnamon, and apple cider, this shake is sure to please.

a milkshake with apple cider and vanilla ice cream topped with cinnamon

This time of year we always have a bottle or two of apple cider on hand to drink. The taste of the cider, when apples are at their peak, can't be beaten. My favorite variety is the Honeycrisp apple and it makes the most delicious cider!

Blended simply with delicious vanilla ice cream, a generous dose of apple cider, and pure ground cinnmon the Best Apple Cider Milkshake will always be a crowd-pleaser, especially with kids. This drink is both festive and fun and you can make as much or as little as you would like.

The idea for this drink was a visit to an apple orchard some years back. While they had the standard apple cider doughnuts cooking and smelling delicious, they also had varieties of apple cider based on their harvest, along with milkshakes and hot apple cider.

This drink takes only minutes to make but always turns out looking and tasting so impressive. I make this for my family weekly during the fall apple harvest, when apples are at their peak. My family looks forward to this one every year!

I sometimes add more cider and less ice cream depending on how thick I want this shake to be. I have also been known to sprinkle a touch of cinnamon on the top before serving!
