It's Sunday and that means it's time for a NEW Sunday Thymes! Today, we are sharing what's new on the blog, some fun finds, and what we've been up to! Please leave a comment if you have any questions or just want to say hi, we love hearing from you.

Happy New Year!
What's Happening
It's been a couple of weeks. I needed a couple of weeks to reset and plan for the new year.
Thank you to everyone who filled out the survey! I really appreciate the feedback! The winner of the Amazon gift card was Sara T. I sent her the gift card last week.
There were a couple of eye-opening/interesting results! Most of you, while not surprising, are coming to the site to find Mediterranean recipes or Jewish recipes. I will continue down that path for the coming year and I am already planning content that you have noted you are looking for-namely, chicken recipes, quick dinners, one-pot meals, seasonal salads, and appetizers. You asked for other recipes as well and I will include those throughout the year.
You are looking for ingredient and technique guides. I hope to implement them as weekly meal plans, monthly challenges, e-books, pantry guides, and an Amazon storefront over time. If you have other suggestions that you would love to see I am always open to suggestions.
Our holidays were spent fairly low-key. We spent some time with family and our son who lives overseas came home on the 27th. We are enjoying our time with him for the next three weeks.
One of our dogs, Walt, came down with pneumonia and it's been a challenge. He spent the new year in the hospital and we are nebulizing him and trying to keep him comfortable.
I'm headed out to LA for a food blogging conference next weekend. I won't be able to get this email out to you on Sunday so I am apologizing in advance if you don't receive The Sunday Thymes next week!

Links And Products I Am Loving
- Here are the baby names predicted for 2026. Cosmos anyone???
- Walt, our dog, loves to dumpster dive into our trash cans. I am looking for ones with lids that are also good-looking. While this trash can is big and pink, I am going to try and find it in a color that matches our home.
- Are you a Poppi drinker? I prefer Zevia, but the price on these cans is tempting.
- Is it rude to do an Irish exit? I know my Mom taught me better but there have been times....
- Look at this cute Stanley cup for Valentines day!
- Hubby got a new laptop this past month. Did you know that you can trade in your electronics for a Costco gift card?
- The most common etiquette mistakes. I have a relative who loves to bring food and then take the extras home when they leave. How about you?
- Chef pet peeves or kitchen habits to avoid in 2026!

Recipes
This year brought many surprises with the recipes you were using and loving. I have included the top 10 recipes that were viewed on the website in 2025 below.
I have also included a new recipe for Garlic Confit. This is an easy recipe that can be used as an appetizer or you can use the garlic in pastas and sauces and the garlic oil on salads or on vegetables. It is a staple ingredient I like to have on hand to build flavor.
Here are the top viewed recipes of 2025!
