When I was creating bark recipes using chocolate, as in the Chocolate Orange Bark, the Dark Chocolate Bark With Sea Salt, or the Chocolate Bark With Pistachios, Apricots, and Figs, I realized some people may love a healthy bark to snack on that uses common ingredients other than chocolate. This is why I developed this quick and simple bark made from yogurt!

Ingredients
You will need the following ingredients to make this yogurt bark recipe:
Ingredient Notes
- Yogurt - Use a full-fat Greek yogurt that will spread evenly and hold it's shape. Some of the brands that I love are Kalona and Fage. While you can use a reduced-fat yogurt, you may find that the yogurt will spread too thinly on your prepared sheet pan. Choose the flavor you love the best!

Additions & Substitutions
Additions:
- Fruit - While I use berries in this recipe, other fruit that would taste good would be bananas, kiwi, or pineapple. Consider using dried fruit like cherries or cranberries.
- Nuts - You could easily add nuts on top. Pistachios, almonds or walnuts would be delicious.
- Other Toppings - Shredded coconut, mini chocolate chips, chia seeds, sesame seeds, or flax seeds would all work well.
- Nut Butter - Add dollops of a nut butter, on top like almond butter or sunflower butter to ramp up the protein and add another texture.
Substitutions
- Yogurt flavor - Swap the plain yogurt for vanilla, honey, or fruit flavors like strawberry, raspberry or lemon.
- Vegan - Swap out the yogurt for a dairy-free yogurt.
- Gluten-Free - Make sure that the granola you are using is gluten-free.

Recipe Tips
This recipe is easy to scale up or down depending on what you are looking for. It's also an easy recipe to do with kids, allowing them to decorate the top!
Only take out as much as you plan to eat, and leave the rest in the freezer. Serve immediately after removing it to prevent melting.
Confidence Tip
This yogurt bark melts quickly! Make sure you eat it quickly, serve it in small batches, and store it in the freezer or you will have melted yogurt.
If you love yogurt, I love using the Middle Eastern version which is Labne. Labne has a bit more tang and doesn't have the same water content as yogurt and is therefore thicker. I use it to make this bark but I also use it in the Healthy Tzatziki Sauce, as a side to the Smashed Fingerling Potatoes, and as a dollop on the Keto Cauliflower Soup.
Storage And Reheating
- Make sure you store this bark in the freezer. Consider packaging this into small plastic bags for easy snacking.
- Keep the bark in an airtight container or a freezer-safe zip-lock bag. Separate layers with parchment paper to prevent pieces from sticking together.
- If it starts to soften, simply return the bark to the freezer for a few minutes to firm it back up.
Frequently Asked Questions

You need to use a good, thick yogurt for this recipe. The lower the water content is in your yogurt the thicker the yogurt will be, and the less ice the bark will develop.
Yes. This bark is best if eaten 5-10 minutes after you remove it from the freezer so it has a chance to soften up every so slightly but not be melted.
