What's Happening
I am thinking about Thanksgiving and I am starting to plan. Are you?
We don't have a large crowd around our table, but it's still a lot to plan out. This year I made the decision to hand off the desserts and appetizers to our guests and I will handle the main meal. I feel like delegation is the key to my happiness and sanity, lol!
The question I have is, do you serve soup at your Thanksgiving meal? I never have; however, I do know many who do.
I always felt like serving soup was just too much food. The stars of our dinner is, of course, the turkey (for which I use an old recipe that people love) and the stuffing (which is a combination of two recipes and my kids go ga-ga over). I get asked for both recipes every year. I have yet to put them to paper but I will get there eventually.
The rest of our meal is actually on my site. You can find the cranberries, sweet potatoes, corn casserole, and either the Brussels or green beans.

Links And Products I Am Loving
- I am not the biggest candle gal as I have a fragrance allergy, but I love the scent of pine. This candle is one that I buy and burn every year around Thanksgiving. I give it as a gift to two of my boys for Hanukkah yearly! It smells sooo good. Speaking of candles, this Levain Cookie Candle is on my list this year!
- This tiny shopping cart for kids is so cute! It's on my list for my great niece! I also found this pop-up play tent that I know they will love.
- I found this adorable Hanukkah pillow that I will add to my collection!
- Do you know where the word "deviled eggs" comes from? I didn't!
- I also didn't know why my dogs tilt their heads! I always thought it was because they loved to listen to me, lol.
- It's a week of learning. I also learned how to keep bananas from going brown!
