It's Sunday and that means it's time for a NEW Sunday Thymes! Today, we are sharing what's new on the blog, some fun finds, and what we've been up to! Please leave a comment if you have any questions or just want to say hi, we love hearing from you.

The weather has been HOT!
What's Happening
The weather has not only been hot but it has been really humid. I almost wish it would rain everyday so that it would cool down in the evenings. I feel like we haven't taken advantage of the backyard as much as I would like.
Due to the weather, we haven't been able to sit outside for meals, and I'm not letting the dogs stay outside for long. We have been getting up super early in the mornings, like 5:30 am and walking the dogs before the heat hits.
Speaking of backyards, my herbs are growing like weeds. I finally picked a ton of basil and made some pesto. I tried a few different varieties and I will share some with you over the next few weeks.
The kids came back home and claimed their dog on Monday. We love Jax but we were getting tired of having a third dog to look after. The dog is a real cutie though and loves sleeping on an electric blanket all day long. Anything to keep the battery packet motor turned down, lol.
I spent most of the week working on recipes for you. We are traveling some in August, September, and October so I am working ahead, which isn't always the easiest thing to do.
If you have recipes that you would love to see, always feel free to shoot me an email! I love suggestions!

- After having to cook for one of our dogs, I'm ready to buy this meat chopper to make my life easier.
- We have the Skylight photo album, but if you have a family to organize the Skylight calendar would come in handy.

Recipes
I have created a few new recipes for you this week. The shrimp recipe is a long-time favorite that comes from a now-shuttered restaurant in Chicago. The rest of the recipes are staying with the Greek theme to accompany the shrimp.
