Raccoons......ugh.
What's Happening
Yep. We are still dealing with raccoons. We caught three more. Two adults and another baby. They are all being re-homed back to the forest. I'm starting to question whether this will go on for the whole summer or have we finally trapped them all?
This week was a busy one, both personally and professionally.
One of the dogs needed to go see her yearly specialist. Basically, she doesn't have any digestive enzymes, so we supplement all of her food to make it digestible. The other dog needed a booster shot so we went to our regular vet as well.
I ended up at the dentist to check out a tooth. I'm fine but if you know me, you know I hate dentists!
I also had the opportunity to meet up with a fellow food blogger and travel writer for coffee one morning. Meetups like these have given me valuable ideas and insights. She was terrific, and we plan to do it again later this summer.
My social media app that I use reached out a few months ago asking me to join them on a podcast, and it finally got recorded. I was also featured on Chowhound this past week! It was an article on using rosemary!

Links And Products I Am Loving
- Do you hate chopping onions? I don't have issues and I think it is because I wear contact lenses. I have seen ideas throughout the years but here are a few more.
- Creating the perfect seasoning can be tough. Here is an article about getting the right seasoning every time. It's an interesting idea but I'm not totally sold. Are you?
- My dog would love this but I would hate this, lol. We have alert dogs and my dogs wouldn't stop barking.
- And then there is this one for cats, lol.
- How best to store ice cream so you don't get freezer burn??? Yes please!

These artichokes are simple to make and taste way better than the store-bought variety. They will last in your refrigerator and make a delicious appetizer, salad veggie, or sandwich item.
Meatballs are an easy weeknight dinner that your whole family will enjoy! I am sharing a few that we love eating.
