What's Happening This Week
Another week down. Construction is still ongoing. They are close to finishing the plumbing and they have started to drywall the room. Yesterday they put a new ceiling on and are prepping the room for painting.
They have been working on Saturdays as well. It's a lot for us and for the dogs, who need to be in daycare every day to make this happen. We are getting a bit tired of the process but I also know that it is....a process.
Our son stayed on and spent the week in Chicago. He left Friday morning and headed back to NYC. We had a nice visit and took him out to a French restaurant (it's an underrated great restaurant where everyone is 70+, lol).
Thankfully the two of them will be back in town Halloween weekend so I don't "miss" him as much as I would.
My daughter-in-law turns 30 in December. I would love to find an experience, beyond a massage for her. Thoughts and ideas????
The picture below shows me holding my Great Niece who is now 4 months old! She's so adorable.

Recipes Of The Week
This week I introduced these Biscoff brownies. They are really yummy, especially if you are a Biscoff fan like my husband.
I mean, we get the Lotus Biscoff cookies every time we fly, right? So why not incorporate the Biscoff butter into a brownie! I know you will love them and all the other bar recipes on the site.
One of my sons came over last weekend and fell asleep on the floor. I couldn't resist the picture!
