We are spending the weekend in NYC visiting one our kids! More about that next week.
What's Happening
Hubby and I are off on another adventure. We went to New York to spend the weekend with the kids.
Hubby was supposed to take two of our boys to the Ryder Cup this weekend. After seeing how chaotic getting there on Friday was going to be, he decided to sell the tickets, have one of our kids get his money back on the flight, and spend quality time with our son and daughter-in-law who live in New York.
We flew to NYC on Thursday and had dinner with our son in Manhattan. On Friday, he rented a car and we drove out to Long Island, where our daughter-in-law's parents have a second home. Our daughter-in-law had stayed and worked out there this past week.
If you celebrate Rosh Hashanah, I hope that you had a wonderful time with family and friends. We went to our other daughter-in-law's family for dinner on the first night. I'm gearing up for Yom Kippur next week as I am hosting the break-fast as usual for my hubby's family.
