How was your long Memorial Day weekend?
What's Happening
We have been very quiet this week. Life with a new dog has kept us grounded and not going to too many places together. Divide and conquer has been our motto since Walt came into our lives two weeks ago.
One more week and then we will breathe a bit easier, and I can start training the dog. For rescues, three weeks is a period that you need to get through. Dogs realize that they are staying and this is their new life.
Walt is a dream rescue dog for our family and the easiest one out of all four rescues that we have had. It is a bit scary, lol.
We went to the farmer's market again on Saturday. It's one of our favorite things to do and we hit up another art fair as well.
We watched Nonna's on Netflix this week. While it won't win awards, it was cute and funny. I recommend watching it and having a laugh! We also watched the Lacy Peterson documentary. Wow. I remember when she went missing!
Our book club started reading Kristen Hannah's The Women. I read it last year but I am re-reading it. Have you read this and did you like it?
