Happy Mother's Day!
Mother’s Day is a chance to pause and honor the women who have shaped our lives in countless ways. Whether it’s your mom, a grandmother, a mother figure, or someone who simply embodies that kind of love—today is for them. However you’re spending the day, I hope it’s filled with warmth, connection, and a little extra appreciation.
What's Happening
We are back from our trip to Colombia and Panama!
We are back in the swing of things. We arrived home early on Wednesday morning, having experienced some delays on the flight.
The last few days of our trip were spent visiting the Panama Canal, spending time on Gatun Lake, and visiting an indigenous village for lunch and dancing. The boys of the village picked us up from the Jungle Eco Resort in dugout canoes.
On our way home, we encountered the famous rain that is part of the Amazon jungle and Gatun Lake. Let's just say that we were bailing water in the boat, rain gear didn't work, and we were soaked to the skin, lol.
We still delight in all we saw and felt during this trip. It was a trip of a lifetime and one that we will not forget since it was not the "typical" vacation.
Both hubby and I are still trying to get our feet back on the ground and back into "work" mode. It will take a few more days!
We will celebrate Mother's Day with one of our kids. It will be nice to see them since it's been over a month!

- Hubby has an allergy to mosquitoes. He doesn't just get a bite, he gets a welt. This is a list of mosquito-repelling plants! He was so excited when we got back from our vacay and he was able to not get bit!
- Speaking of hubby, he is a Lego fanatic. He loves putting sets together and this is how they were made!
- I took an old pair of these on our trip and lost one. I'm replacing them with these purple ones!
