It's Sunday and that means it's time for a NEW Sunday Thymes! Today, we are sharing what's new on the blog, some fun finds, and what we've been up to! Please leave a comment if you have any questions or just want to say hi, we love hearing from you.

What's Happening

We have been super busy these past two weeks.

Last weekend I flew to Los Angeles and attended a food conference. It's an annual conference that brings bloggers and influencers together. We learn about our industry and what is new. This year it was all about how to work with AI and video.

I had a blast. My friends were there and we spent the two days catching up, eating good food, and enjoying everything that was offered. Next year we are heading to San Antonio!

On the home front, my son, who lives in Germany, left to head back to Europe yesterday. He was home for three glorious weeks. We laughed and laughed, and we accomplished everything on his list as well as things that he hadn't even thought of!

Walt, our newest rescue dog, was in and out of the doggie hospital. We thought he had pneumonia, but it turns out that he has a lung that isn't working. While he can live with one lung, it isn't ideal long-term and we don't have the definitive diagnosis yet.

At the conference last weekend, we learned about the influence of AI on our sites (it's not great). We learned how to combat the negative effects and how to use AI to benefit our sites in the foreseeable future.

One of the easiest ways we can combat the negative impact of AI is by having our loyal readers, like you, list a site like A Sweet Thyme as a preferred source for Google.

I do some recipe testing for ATK and give feedback on their recipes. It's a lot of fun but I had no idea....
