It's Sunday and that means it's time for a NEW Sunday Thymes! Today, we are sharing what's new on the blog, some fun finds, and what we've been up to! Please leave a comment if you have any questions or just want to say hi, we love hearing from you.

What's Happening

We flew home yesterday. We are back in Chicago, the land of the cold, cloudy, and gray. I am cuddling up with our two dogs and catching up on sleep after an overnight flight.

We had a really relaxing time over the past two weeks. We walked every morning for a couple of miles and we soaked up the heat and sunshine. Sometimes we walked to grab coffee and other times we walked just to see the beauty of the coastline.

We met two of our friends, one of whom lives here permanently, for lunch and dinner. One of these friends has a toddler who was literally dancing on the table after lunch. She's adorable!

While I would normally share new finds from Hawaii, I truthfully wasn't looking. Instead, I was relaxing and soaking up our time here. We will be back for a few more weeks in the winter, but this is truly one of our "happy" places.

  • I am also starting to look for Thanksgiving casserole dishes, pots and pans. I use a deep skillet, like this one from Sur La Table all the time and I may get another one.
  • Do you need to refrigerate butter? I don't when I want to serve it with bread for guests. I actually use this butter keeper and it's on my counter year round.
