This creamy Whipped Ricotta Dip is a true crowd-pleasing appetizer whipped to silky deliciousness and prepared in under 10 minutes. The dip serves as a base for honey, fresh thyme, lemon, and spices, resulting in a beautifully balanced dip that is terrific for spreading on top of crusty bread or vegetables.
Place the ricotta, sea salt, olive oil, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a food processor.
Pulse until creamy and well combined.
Spoon into a serving bowl and set aside.
Honey Lemon Thyme Topping
In a small bowl combine the honey, lemon zest, lemon juice, thyme, salt and pepper.
Stir until well combined.
Spoon the topping onto the ricotta dip and serve.
Notes
You can make the dip ahead of time and store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. You can also make the topping ahead of time, if you prefer, and top the ricotta dip just prior to serving.
