This refreshing Watermelon Water recipe is an easy, fresh, and delicious drink all year round. Made with juicy watermelon, a touch of sugar, and cold water, this beverage will quickly become a favorite staple. Top with a wedge of watermelon, add a touch of lime, or mint for the extra special touch.
Add all of the ingredients except the garnishes to a blender.
Blend for up to 1 minute.
Using a big spoon, lightly skim the top of the liquid in the blender to remove any foam.
Pour into a glass and garnish.
Notes
This recipe is best eaten the day it is made and not stored in the refrigerator. If stored, the taste will become a bit sour.
You can use sugar substitutes for this recipe. Blend without the sugar first and then add the sugar to taste. You won't want to swap them out equally, so test, test, test.
Some foam after blending is fine, but some of the foam may look strange. So, I remove anything I don't like so it looks nicer.
If you want a stronger flavor, add more watermelon but keep the water amounts the same.
If you want a more citrus kick, Add the juice of one lime.
Do not make this too far in advance. The taste will change. It's best eaten the day you make it.
