This Baked Brie Cheese with Honey and Walnuts is creamy, warm, and slightly sweet. It’s the perfect appetizer for any gathering and comes together in minutes.
Place the Brie cheese in a small baking dish or cast iron skillet.
Using a sharp knife, create subtle cuts on top of the wheel without going in too deep. Make about 4-5 cuts to create a grid pattern.
Drizzle the cheese with honey, and then sprinkle the thyme over the top. Arrange the rosemary sprigs around the cheese.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Top the cheese with the nuts and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the Brie is soft and nicely melted.
Let cool slightly. Serve warm.
Notes
Use a good-quality Brie for the best flavor and texture. If you can’t find Brie, Camembert works just as well. Bake the cheese just until soft and slightly melted in the center. Overbaking can cause it to lose its shape. Use fresh rosemary for aroma and color, and toast the walnuts lightly if you prefer extra crunch. Serve warm with pita chips, crackers, or a sliced baguette. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days. Reheat gently in the oven at 325°F until warm.
