  • 1 whole medium onion sliced
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

Sauce:

  • 1 ½ cups ketchup

  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 t sugar
  • 1 ½ t salt
  • 1 ⅛ t pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a Dutch oven, combine the ribs, water, onion, and vinegar. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer covered for 1 hour.
  • Place the ribs back into the oven. Combine the sauce and pour over the ribs. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 and ¼ hours or until tender.

Notes

Keep checking to make sure you have enough water covering the bottom. This will ensure that you have a nice sauce when finished.
